Our team

Sir George is the chairman of the board of Arrow Global Limited and is one of the world's most respected bankers. Following a long career at Royal Bank of Scotland, he was appointed chief executive in 1992 and chairman in 2001. During this time he was responsible for the acquisition and successful integration of National Westminster Bank.

Jack, the former president and CEO of Arrow Financial Services (AFS), serves as a member of the advisory board. Under Jack's leadership, AFS grew to become a nationally recognised leader in the receivables management industry, with over $24 billion in consumer debt owned. Jack has over 20 years of banking and capital markets experience and is currently the managing director of Javlin Ventures, an investment firm in the ARM and NPL industry.

Tom, who has over 15 years executive leadership experience, joined Arrow Global from Shanks Group plc, a FTSE 250 Company with operations in the UK, Netherlands, Belgium and Canada, where he served as Group Chief Executive.  He previously served for 11 years as managing director of Vertex Data Science Limited, a subsidiary of United Utilities Group plc, which under his tenure grew to become the second largest firm in the UK's business process outsourcing sector, with annual revenues of circa £500 million and 10,000 employees. Tom began his career as a management trainee at Unilever, before joining PWC as a management consultant, specializing in financial management and business planning.  Tom received a first from Oxford University, and is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Zach has 12 years of executive experience in debt purchase, debt collections and contact centre management. He joined Arrow Global from Vertex, the business process outsourcing division of United Utilities (a FTSE 50 company) in the U.K., where he served as President of Vertex North America and was the global product owner for debt management. Among his clients were the largest European and multi-national companies in the financial services, utility and government sectors. Previously, Zach was co-founder and executive director of 7C Limited, a global call centre operator, which was acquired by Vertex in 2002, and a consultant with Mercer Management Consulting. He holds an honours degree in economics and a certificate in applied and computational mathematics from Princeton University.  Zach currently serves as Chairman of the Debt Buyers and Sellers Group (DBSG) of the Credit Services Association (CSA).

Andrew has over 15 years experience in distressed asset investing. Prior to joining Arrow Global, Andrew spent 10 years with CarVal Investors, where he served as a director with responsibility for managing investments in loan portfolios in the U.K., Spain and Portugal. Before joining CarVal, Andrew worked with Cargill Financial Markets plc, where he was a market risk analyst and accounting manager. Andrew received his B.A. (Hons) in economics and econometrics from the University of Nottingham and is a Chartered Management Accountant. He currently serves as a Board Director and Treasurer of the Credit Services Association (CSA).

Matt has over 16 years experience in financial services and consumer receivables management. Prior to joining Arrow Global, Matt served as unsecured recoveries director at Lloyds Banking Group following the acquisition of HBOS, where he was the head of recoveries and supplier management. He joined HBOS from Capital One Services Inc, where he held senior roles over a ten year period, including associate vice president/senior relationship manager of the US Card Recoveries business. Matt holds a B.A. (Hons) in English literature from Rutgers University.

Stewart is a solicitor with over 10 years of corporate law experience. Prior to joining Arrow Global, Stewart worked for Addleshaw Goddard LLP for five years in its Manchester based corporate team. During this time he worked principally on private company acquisitions and disposals and public fund raising, as well as gaining direct experience with the Clydesdale Bank plc and healthcare company Assura Group Limited as a client secondee. Stewart graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a M.A. (Hons) in economics and law and trained at Linklaters LLP.

Georgina has 13 years of experience in the delivery of operational business systems and has specific expertise in the area of risk and mapping statute and regulatory guidance onto business process. Prior to joining Arrow Global, Georgina worked at LexisNexis, one of the leading providers of legal and regulatory content and systems solutions in the UK, where she ran a professional services team in the Practice and Productivity Management division. Her primary focus was the delivery of business change incorporating new IT systems to legal firms in the debt recovery arena and regulatory public bodies, clients included Eversheds, Shoosmiths, the Financial Services and Health Ombudsman and the Law Society. Georgina holds a honours degree in Physics and a PhD in optical electronics from the University of Manchester.

Ruth has 15 years experience in both the financial services and technology sectors.  Since joining Arrow Global, Ruth has held a variety of operational roles, including building, expanding and managing the agency panel, and is currently responsible for implementation across the business, which includes portfolio implementation, project management and audit/due diligence.  Prior to joining Arrow Global, Ruth was affinity partner manager of key accounts for the Black and White Group, a UK-based mortgage provider. Before joining the Black and White Group, Ruth held a variety of roles in an account management and business development capacity.  Ruth holds a B.A. (Hons) degree from Staffordshire University.

Prior to joining Arrow Global, Ian worked for 12 years with N Brown Group plc, a large catalogue retailer, as a commercial and business recovery manager. Ian successfully oversaw the contractual negotiations and the operational integration of group mergers, acquisitions, and disposals. Ian implemented significant operational improvement and cost savings measures across numerous entities throughout the N Brown Group of companies. Ian, a member of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors, holds a B.A. (Hons) in economics from Manchester University.

Colin has over 20 years experience in the financial services sector.  Prior to joining Arrow Global, he served as a senior manager in the debt recovery services area of Lloyds Banking Group, with responsibility for the external agency panel and management of the unsecured recoveries portfolios for HBOS and Lloyds TSB.  Colin has a background in customer analytics, having spent over 6 years managing the analysis and modeling teams in the area of direct marketing for both Bank of Scotland and Halifax, after which he moved into the recoveries area of HBOS, where he managed the analysis and strategy teams before migrating into supplier management.  Prior to that, he held roles as a credit risk analyst on the Bank of Scotland credit card portfolio, as well as a range of corporate and retail portfolios for Bank of Scotland Ireland.  Colin is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.

Rob has been a corporate CFO for 10 years, and has over 15 years experience in senior financial leadership roles within private equity backed and listed organisations. Prior to joining Arrow Global, Rob worked with Leeds Bradford International Airport Ltd as chief financial officer and company secretary.  He also previously served as finance director of Alfred McAlpine, which he joined from Servisair plc, where he was chief financial officer.  Rob, who has significant experience both in raising and restructuring debt, and in mergers and acquisitions, qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG in Manchester.

Antony has 14 years of experience in financial services and consumer receivables management. Prior to joining Arrow Global, Antony served as head of unsecured recoveries strategy at Lloyds Banking Group following the acquisition of HBOS, where he was the head of recoveries strategy and, prior to that, head of collections strategy. He joined HBOS from Barclays Bank, where he held senior roles over a 9 year period, including assistant director and head of portfolio predictive modelling. Antony holds both a BSc (Hons) degree and a MA degree in Economics from the University of Plymouth and Exeter University.
