Executive team

Jack Lavin, Executive Vice President, Sallie Mae — Mr. Lavin was one of the pioneers of the US debt purchase market and is currently an Executive Vice President with Sallie Mae. He previously served as the CEO of Arrow Financial Services LLC in the US. Prior to joining Arrow, Jack led the derivative, capital markets and corporate finance business units at Bankers Trust (now Deutsche Bank AG). In his career, he also has served as head of Citibank's European treasury consulting group and established the international capital markets group at Drexel Burnham Lambert. Jack earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Business Administration from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), where he serves as a member of the Advisory Board at both institutions.

Zach Lewy, Chief Executive Officer — Mr. Lewy brings extensive debt management and international experience to Arrow Global. He joins Arrow from Vertex, the business process outsourcing division of United Utilities (a FTSE 50 company) in the UK, where he served as President and was the global product owner for debt management. Among his clients were the largest European and multi-national companies in the financial services, utility and government sectors. Previously, Zach was Co-Founder and Executive Director of 7C Limited, a global call center operator which was acquired by Vertex in 2002, and a consultant with Mercer Management Consulting. He holds an honors degree in Economics and a certificate in Applied and Computation Mathematics from Princeton University.

Ged O'Neill, Commercial Director — The addition of Mr. O'Neill brings significant transactional expertise as well as hands-on operational knowledge to Arrow Global. Before joining the Arrow Global team, Ged served as a partner in Root Capital, a London-based private equity firm focused on turnarounds. He acted as chairman and CEO of one of Root's portfolio companies, CFH Limited. Prior to joining Root Capital, he was European General Counsel of Internet Capital Group, Inc, where he led the execution of ICG's European investments. Ged also was recognized by Chambers in 2003 as one of the leading mid-market corporate finance lawyers in London. He graduated with honors from the University of Nottingham, attended Chester Law College and has participated in the Harvard Business School program on leading professional service firms.
