Arrow Global Group ("Arrow") has announced that as part of its ongoing collaboration with Junior Achievement Europe (“JAE”), the group will be supporting in a variety of workshops for students across Europe as part of Global Money Week (“GMW”) 2022.
The event, held in partnership between Arrow and JAE, will involve Arrow employees from across Europe volunteering their time to speak with students from Albania, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, and the UK regarding their careers and working within the Financial Services sector.
For Arrow, this collaboration builds upon the Group’s core purpose of Building Better Financial Futures. The group hopes to support the development of financial skills among young people across the continent, while deepening collaboration across the Group’s regional operations. Volunteers from Arrow’s Compliance, Investment Analysis, Servicing, and Communications teams, among others, will be giving up their time to support the Speed Learning initiative.
Arrow will be joined in GMW by some of Europe’s leading financial businesses including HSBC, BNP Paribas, and the OECD, all of whom are committed to building financial literacy amongst Europe’s young people and encouraging rewarding careers across Financial Services.
Paul Woods, Group Director of Sustainability & ESG, said: “This continued partnership represents a great opportunity for the Arrow group to once again give back to the communities it works with. We are proud to be part of the effort to encourage financial literacy and a career in finance among young people. We have partnered with JAE since 2018, and we look forward to continuing to work with them to support young people across Europe and fulfil our social responsibilities.”
Hugo Monteiro, Communication and Marketing Director in Portugal, said: “Working with young people across Europe to discuss a career in financial services is a great way for the team to give back to young people and hopefully inspire their future careers.”
Luca Faggella, Internal Evaluations, Sagitta, added: “It’s always good to work with Junior Achievement and support young people by giving them a broader perspective on life after education.”
