Arrow Shortlisted for 2023 PDI Awards

Europe Distressed Debt and Special Situations Lender of the Year

Arrow Global is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted as a finalist for the 2023 PDI Awards in the Europe Distressed Debt and Special Situations Lender of the Year category.

This nomination category reflects the strong progress Arrow has made both strategically and operationally. It underscores our Vision of becoming the leading European vertically integrated alternative asset manager specialising in private credit and real estate.

There are several highlights for Arrow across 2023. We attracted strong inflows into our asset management platform and saw the continued delivery of strong risk-adjusted returns across our funds. Arrow Credit Opportunities II (‘ACO II’) after exceeding its fundraising target to reach the fund’s hard cap of €2.75 billion was named as the world’s largest distressed debt fund in Q1, 2023.

Additionally, there was an expansion of the local Arrow franchise with several strategic platform acquisitions accretive to our unique business model, including Eagle Street Partners, Blue Current Capital, the outright acquisition of Maslow Capital, establishment of the Mica Real Estate JV, and the acquisition of Details Hotels and Resorts. Our local franchise now consists of 19 best-in-class asset management and servicing platforms which further enhances our origination capabilities and reinforce our local presence in key European markets. This extension of our local asset management and servicing franchise is aligned with an ongoing commitment to ESG principles, sustainable practices, and progress in building a more diverse and inclusive culture.

To enhance our investment capabilities with a wealth of expertise, we were delighted to welcome industry leaders to our senior team. These include the appointments of Zachary Vaughan as the Global Head & CIO of Real Estate, Toni McDermott as Credit and Lending CIO, Charlotte Gilbert to lead our fundraising efforts, and Meera Savjani as Fund CFO.

2023 has been a year of forward momentum and strong delivery for Arrow. We thank all our investors, clients, colleagues and service providers for their continued support, which has been pivotal in Arrow’s success this year, as demonstrated by this leading industry award nomination.
