Jin-Hei Park
Jin-Hei Park is a banker with 36 years of experience across a broad range of businesses in Corporate & Investment Banking, Markets & Trading, and Wealth Management & Private Banking. He was CEO of Citibank Korea from 2014 to 2020 before retiring. He began his banking career with Citibank in 1984 and became Korea Country Treasurer in 1992. He also worked for Samsung Securities for two years before moving to Koram Bank as CFO in 2001. Koram Bank was owned by Carlyle and bought by Citigroup in 2004, where he orchestrated the merger and integration. After serving as Head of Corporate & Investment Banking, he became CEO in 2014.
He holds an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics (1984), an MBA from the University of Chicago’s GSB (1981-83), and a BA in International Economics from Seoul National University (1980).
Jin-Hei is currently an independent director and serves as Chairman of the Boards for SK Innovation, Asia’s top energy company, and Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance.
