Marten Foxton

Marten is responsible for the asset management of Arrow’s portfolio of 11 hotels across Portugal, Spain and Italy. Prior to this, he spent seven years based in the United Arab Emirates, overseeing the global hotel investment portfolio for ADIA, the sovereign wealth fund of Abu Dhabi.

He has more than 35 years of experience in international hospitality real estate and asset management, beginning his career with a global advisory firm before moving into private equity, listed companies and subsequently ADIA. Marten has been involved in several of the sector’s most high-profile transactions, including the sale of the George V in Paris, the acquisition of seven InterContinental hotels in Europe, and the acquisition, refinance, and subsequent sale of the Park Hyatt Sydney.

He has also managed hotel investment portfolios around the world, including the United States, Australia, Hong Kong, various Caribbean islands and most European countries.

Marten holds a BSc (Hons) in Hotel Administration from the University of Surrey, and a Certificate in Management Development from INSEAD.
