Zachary Lewy
CEO, CIO, Fund Principal
Skills and experience
Zach has over 23 years of executive experience in investment management and asset servicing. Zach founded Arrow Global in 2005 and serves as Group CEO and CIO of Arrow. Zach led the fundraising process for Arrow Credit Opportunities 1, the largest inaugural private credit fundraise globally in 2020 and the fourth largest private credit fundraise overall in Europe in 2020. Zach has supervised over 800 deals at Arrow and is a lead Principal in Arrow’s fund manager.
Prior to joining Arrow, he was an Officer of Sallie Mae, a Director at Vertex (the BPO division of United Utilities), and a Founder and Executive Director of 7C (a U.K. BPO company acquired by Vertex). Zach was previously the Chair of the UK Debt Buyers Association and was named an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2010.
He graduated from Princeton University with a BA in Economics with Honours and a Certificate in Applied and Computational Mathematics with Honours

John Calvao
Fund Principal
Skills and experience
John is Managing Principal of ACO1 Fund as well as accountable for Arrow’s Platforms, Portfolio Management Performance, Fund Operations, IT & Change. John’s role as Co-Head of the Fund follows from his two-year role as Italy Country Manager, creating and leading Arrow’s Italian strategy. During the same period, he played a key role in raising Arrow Credit Opportunities 1. Joining Arrow in 2010, John was Arrow’s Portugal Country Manager and Whitestar CEO.
Prior to that, John gained more than 15 years’ experience across various international capital market institutions, including as COO of MIAC Assurance Corporation, Head of Operations at SCA, which he joined after an independent consultant role overseeing the build out of the first independent, NPL servicing company in Portugal, and CIO at Clayton.
John began his career at MBIA.

Phil Shepherd
Executive Director, Chief Commercial Officer
Skills and Experience
Phil Shepherd was appointed Group Chief Commercial Officer following the Acquisition and is an Executive Director of Arrow Global Group. Phil is responsible for Financial Performance, HR, Capital Allocation and Treasury. Phil joined Arrow in 2019 as Group Treasurer and was instrumental in the Group’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. He has over 30 years’ experience in finance and treasury and has held a number of senior treasury and finance roles in different industries and organisations. Before joining Arrow, Phil was Group Treasurer at Provident Financial plc for ten years and was Financial Controller and Treasurer at Cheshire Building Society, before becoming Head of Finance for Cheshire and Derbyshire Building Societies following their takeover by Nationwide Building Society. He has also worked in the retail and leisure sectors. Phil is a qualified Chartered Accountant, an associate member of the Corporate Treasurers Association and holds an honours degree in Mathematics from the University of Sheffield.

Andrew Grimditch
Chief Financial Officer
Skills and experience
As Chief Financial Officer Andrew is responsible for Financial Reporting and Control, Tax and Smart Finance, alongside his role as CFO, AGGCM. He is also accountable for Procurement, Premises & Facilities.
Prior to joining Arrow in 2019 as fund CFO Andrew was a FD at Electra Private Equity playing a key role insourcing and building all executive functions following the decision to move away from the external investment manager.
Before that Andrew held a number of roles at Thomas Cook, initially helping to stabilise the UK financial reporting processes before moving to be the finance lead in establishing a commercially focused stand-alone holiday service division. This followed a number of years at FCC Environment in Financial Controller and Business Development roles.
Andrew worked and trained at Deloitte for 11 years in assurance and advisory including transaction support work, secondments to clients and a period abroad. Andrew has a BA in Physics from Oxford University.

Monique O'Keefe
Executive Director, Governance & Risk, and Chair AGGCM Fund Manager
Skills and Experience
Monique joined Arrow in 2019 as Chair of the Investment Manager of Arrow Credit Opportunities and is an Executive Director for Arrow Global Group. Monique leads on Governance for the fund, and with a wider executive responsibility covering Governance, Legal, Risk and Compliance for the wider Group.
Monique has over 25 years’ experience in finance, law and governance. She is a Non-Executive Director on two listed boards, and a select number of private funds. She also sits on the Board of Commissioners at the Jersey Financial Services Commission and is the co-founder of investment consultancy business, Kairos Wealth Limited. Prior to this, Monique was working in structured finance at Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs in London and New York, and previously as a structured finance lawyer at Clifford Chance in London.
Monique has a Bachelor of Law, a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Law from University of Queensland, Australia.

Richard Roberts
Principal, Head of Origination and M&A
Skills and experience
Richard leads Origination and Corporate Development and is Fund Principal for AC01 Fund. He also responsible for Arrow’s M&A strategy alongside leading origination across the Platforms and Aggregation Vehicles.
Richard joined Arrow in 2017 after 19 years at GE Capital in Private Equity and M&A roles. He is responsible for Arrow Group Origination and M&A, led the acquisitions of Mars, EI, Whitestar Italy, Drydens & Norfin platforms and has been heavily involved managing subsequent origination flows.
At his time at GE Capital, he was a senior member of the GE Capital M&A/Corporate Development team responsible for the sale of >$30b platform/portfolio sales in the 2012-2017 GE Capital disposal plan.
Richard is Chair of Marie Curie’s annual London Brain Game.

Marc Fuhrmann
Principal, Real Estate Investments
Skills and experience
As Principal for Real Estate, Marc is responsible for Arrow’s real estate strategy, including origination, underwriting, and portfolio management for real estate investments as well as oversight of Arrow’s real estate related platforms.
Prior to joining Arrow, Marc spent fourteen years at a large US private equity firm, most recently as a partner responsible for European real estate.
Throughout his career, Marc has been responsible for sourcing, executing, and managing investments across a wide range of real estate strategies in Europe and the US. This has included equity investments, non-performing loans, direct lending, and structured products.
Marc has an MBA from London Business School and an M.Sc. in Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Davide Stecchi
Managing Director, Underwriting
Skills and experience
Davide leads our Underwriting team specialising in credit, NPL and special situation opportunities and is accountable for investment deal execution.
Davide has over 17 years financial services experience with a specialism in real estate investments across Europe. Prior to joining Arrow, Davide spent 7 years at Hudson Advisors, the asset management and underwriting platform of diversified asset manager Lone Star as head of Underwriting for Continental Europe on behalf of the RE Fund.
Before that, Davide covered several positions spanning from portfolio management to underwriting in Archon Group, the servicing and underwriting platform of distressed real estate and non-performing loans and subsidiary of Goldman Sachs.
