Zach Lewy

CEO, CIO, Fund Principal

Zach has more than 25 years of executive experience in investment management and asset servicing. He founded Arrow Global in 2005 and has since led the business as Group CEO and CIO, transforming it into a leading Pan-European investment manager specialising in private credit and real estate. Under Zach’s leadership, Arrow manages more than €110 billion of serviced assets across Western Europe and generates alpha across alternative asset classes, including opportunistic credit, real estate, and lending.

Zach has supervised over 3,000 deals at Arrow and plays a key role as lead Principal in Arrow’s fund manager. Prior to founding Arrow, he was an Officer of Sallie Mae, a Director at Vertex (the BPO division of United Utilities), and a Founder and Executive Director of 7C (a U.K. BPO company acquired by Vertex). He has also served as Chair of the U.K. Debt Buyers Association and the Chair of SCOR. In 2010, he was named an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

Zach graduated from Princeton University with a BA in Economics with Honours and a Certificate in Applied and Computational Mathematics with Honours.

Monique O’Keefe

Chair of AGG Capital Management, Chief Risk and Governance Officer

Monique joined Arrow in 2019 as Chair of the Investment Manager of Arrow Credit Opportunities and is an Executive Director for Arrow Global Group. Monique leads on Governance for the fund, and has a wider executive responsibility covering Governance, Legal, Risk and Compliance for the wider Group.

Monique has over 25 years’ experience in finance, law and governance. She is also Deputy Chair of the Board of Commissioners at the Jersey Financial Services Commission and sits on the board of the Jersey Resolution Authority. Prior to this, Monique was working in structured finance at Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch in London and New York, and previously as a structured finance lawyer at Clifford Chance in London.

Monique has a Bachelor of Law, a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Law from University of Queensland, Australia.

John Calvao

Fund Principal

John Calvao is a Partner and Fund Principal at Arrow. John is a key senior member of the Central Investment Team, overseeing Arrow’s Southern European investments and hospitality assets. John also heads the M&A and Markets Development Teams at Arrow.

During his tenure at Arrow, John has previously led the development of Arrow’s investment and operation capability in both Portugal and Italy as Country CEO.

Before joining Arrow in 2010, John spent over 15 years in various senior positions in international capital market institutions, including COO of MIAC Assurance Corporation, Head of Operations at SCA, which he joined after an independent consultant role overseeing the build out of the first independent NPL servicing company in Portugal, and CIO at Clayton.

John began his career at MBIA.

Toni McDermott

CIO, Credit and Lending

Toni joined Arrow in 2023 as Credit and Lending CIO. During her career spanning more than 25 years, Toni has invested in and managed performing and non-performing portfolios and businesses across Europe including UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany and Greece. Before Arrow Global, Toni spent three years in Hong Kong running Morgan Stanley’s APAC Loan Solutions and Securitisation Group. In Europe, Toni was responsible for Centerbridge’s European Asset Backed Special Situations business for almost five years. Post GFC, Toni was one of the architects of Deutsche Bank’s European Portfolios principal business. Toni also has extensive experience in asset-backed and real estate lending, securitisation, as well as special servicing businesses.

Toni is a trustee of Coram’s Fields and Harmsworth Memorial Playground. She has a BCom International (BCIT) from University College Dublin.

Enrico Sanna

CEO, Platforms

Enrico joined Arrow Global in 2025 as CEO Platforms, bringing nearly 30 years of leadership experience in private credit, real estate, and financial services. Enrico was the founder of Fora, which he scaled into one of Europe’s leading flexible office platforms before its merger with TOG in 2022, creating a £2.0bn enterprise.

Previously, Enrico was a Senior Managing Director at Deutsche Bank, overseeing a $40bn portfolio of operating assets and leading high-profile value creation initiatives, including the successful turnaround and sale of key businesses. Earlier, he held leadership roles at American Express and Oliver Wyman, focusing on international strategy and corporate development.

Enrico holds an MBA from MIT and a BA from Bentley University.

Zachary Vaughan

Global Head and CIO, Real Estate

Zachary Vaughan, Global Head and CIO, Real Estate – Zachary Vaughan joined Arrow in September 2023 from Brookfield’s Real Estate Group as CIO of the Arrow Real Estate strategy. Zachary has more than 20 years’ experience in Real Estate Investment and Asset Management. During his time at Brookfield, Zachary held several roles including Managing Partner Head of European Real Estate, Head of Multifamily Investments and CEO of Brookfield REIT.

Prior to joining Brookfield Zachary was a Director in the Real Estate investment team at CPPIB. Prior to joining CPPIB, Zachary was Director of Acquisitions at International Property Corporation/Reichmann International.

Zachary holds an Honours Bachelor of Economics from Western University.

Charlotte Gilbert

Managing Director, Client and Product Solutions

Charlotte joined Arrow in 2023 as Managing Director of Client and Product Solutions. Charlotte is responsible for and oversees Arrow’s fundraising efforts and product development. Prior to joining Arrow, Charlotte spent almost five years at Oaktree Capital Management where she was Managing Director, Marketing and Client Relations, and 12 years at Apollo Global Management.

Charlotte has an BA in Business Studies from the University of Westminster.

Phil Shepherd

Executive Director, Group Chief Financial Officer

Phil Shepherd was appointed Group Chief Finance Officer following the Acquisition and is an Executive Director of Arrow Global Group. Phil is responsible for the finance function, including financial performance and reporting, HR, Capital Allocation, Tax and Treasury. Phil joined Arrow in 2019 as Group Treasurer and was instrumental in the Group’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

He has over 30 years’ experience in finance and treasury and has held a number of senior treasury and finance roles in different industries and organisations. Before joining Arrow, Phil was Group Treasurer at Provident Financial plc for ten years and was Financial Controller and Treasurer at Cheshire Building Society, before becoming Head of Finance for Cheshire and Derbyshire Building Societies following their takeover by Nationwide Building Society. He has also worked in the retail and leisure sectors.

Phil is a qualified Chartered Accountant, an associate member of the Corporate Treasurers Association and holds an honours degree in Mathematics from the University of Sheffield.

Samyuktha Rajagopal

Chief of Staff

Sam Rajagopal was appointed Chief of Staff in September 2024. In this role, she works closely with Zach Lewy and the executive leadership team to drive the firm’s strategic priorities.

Before stepping into her current position, Sam served as Arrow’s General Counsel. Prior to joining Arrow in 2019, she was a senior lawyer at Slaughter and May, specialising in restructuring and distressed credit matters.
