Vesting Finance appoints new Chief Executive Officer

Reza Atighi appointed CEO of Vesting Finance with mandate to grow the Company

London, 1 July 2022 – Arrow Global Group (“Arrow Global”) a leading European investor and alternative asset manager in credit and real estate, is pleased to announce the appointment of Reza Atighi as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to its Amersfoort-headquartered Vesting Finance Servicing B.V. (“Vesting Finance”).

Reza brings a wealth of experience to Vesting Finance having worked in financial services for more than 20 years. He joins Vesting Finance from Intrum where he was, most recently, CEO of Netherlands and Belgium. Prior to this, Reza worked for Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, and ABN AMRO. He has managed teams across M&A and Investment Banking for international financial institutions. He holds an MA in Economics from the Vrije Universiteit van Amsterdam and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Reza joins the Dutch arm of Arrow Global with a view to growing the business as a servicing and data specialist in the Dutch markets, as well as an origination platform for Arrow’s pan-European Credit Opportunities Fund. In particular, his focus is to ensure that Vesting Finance continues to be the Netherlands’ leading full-service credit management business and develops long-term partnerships with leading financial institutions.

Reza joins Vesting Finance on 1 July and will be based in Amersfoort, reporting to Mark Gollin, Managing Director and Global Head, Platforms. The appointment of Reza Atighi as CEO is still subject to approval by the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM).

Mark Gollin, Managing Director and Global Head, Platforms, said: “We’re thrilled to be able to welcome Reza to the team as the CEO of our Dutch credit management business. Reza is widely respected in the Dutch financial services industry and will bring valuable expertise and leadership to our team. We look forward to working with Reza to grow the Dutch business over the coming years.”

Reza Atighi said: “Vesting Finance is uniquely positioned as the leading third-party servicer in the Dutch servicing and credit management sector, based on its differentiated capabilities in end-to-end servicing of consumer finance, buy-to-let and a broad range of non-performing assets. Its positioning is aligned with the broader Arrow strategy, with its focus on further expansion in value-add servicing, direct lending and the real estate segment.

“Given the dynamics in the growing Dutch economy, there is a clear opportunity for Vesting Finance to expand its footprint, both as a servicing, data and analytics specialist, and as an origination platform for Arrow’s credit Fund. This makes it an especially attractive time to join Vesting Finance and I’m looking forward to working with my new colleagues.”
